First Aid Training

First Aid Training
As the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981 require employers to provide adequate and appropriate equipment, facilities and personnel to ensure their employees receive immediate attention if they are injured or taken ill at work. It is the employers' legal duty to ensure this is not just initiated but maintained.
First aid is the immediate treatment or care given to someone suffering from an injury or illness until more advanced care is accessed or they recover. The aims of first aid are to: preserve life. Basic first aid refers to the initial process of assessing and addressing the needs of someone who has been injured or is in physiological distress due to choking, a heart attack, allergic reactions, drugs or other medical emergencies.
Due to the nature of this course, casual clothing is recommended as there are many demonstrations and practical elements.
